Evolution Of My Naked and Famous Jeans
After about eight months and having been worn in at least five countries, I figured it was time to give my jeans their first washing.

The tools of the trade. Machine washed inside-out, cold water, then hang dried.

Surprisingly, they held up pretty well, stayed clean, stink-free and survived some pretty bad salt stains this past winter. I only used antibacterial Febreze regularly which may (or may not) have been good for the jeans.
Now you’re probably thinking “why the ____ would you wear your jeans eight months straight and wash ‘em only once?”
A denim aficionado would tell you that essentially, with raw denim, you would be creating a completely unique pair of jeans whose characteristics depended entirely on how you wore them. For me, however, I like to see it like a time capsule of sorts. Let’s say in a million years if someone were to come across my fossilized pair of jeans, they’d be able to determine my way of life during the time I wore them.
Perhaps, they could extract enough DNA from them to bring me back to life through genetic engineering technology - after which I would wreak havoc since the containment cell they’ve held me captive in had a flawed security system that only one idiot (pictured below) knew how to operate. That’s only if, by then, they haven’t developed the technology to bring my cryogenically frozen body back to life - in which case I would call George Lucas a big, worthless liar.
